बाघों के लिए विश्व प्रसिद्ध बांधवगढ़ टाइगर रिजर्व में पहली बार दो दिवसीय बटरफ्लाई सर्वे प्रबंधन ने कराया। टाइगर रिजर्व के 15 कैंपों में 61 सदस्यों ने बांधवगढ़ टाइगर रिजर्व के जंगलों में पैदल सर्वे किया। सर्वे सीट पर तितलियों की जानकारी को अपडेट किया। दो दिवसीय सर्वे के बाद बांधवगढ़ टाइगर रिजर्व के जंगलों में मिलने वाली तितलियों के अनुमानित प्रजातियां सामने आई। 61 सदस्यों ने बांधों का टाइगर रिजर्व के उन क्षेत्रों में तितलियों का सर्वे किया जहां पर की ग्रास लैंड नदी किनारा और नमी वाले स्थान थे। टाइगर रिजर्व के सहायक संचालक श्री निनामा ने बताया कि अनुमानित आंकड़े 100 से अधिक प्रजातियां बांधवगढ़ टाइगर रिजर्व में तितलियों की है इसमें 5 से अधिक तितलियां दुर्लभ प्रजाति की है।कॉमन रेड ऑय, ब्लैक राजा, फॉरगेट मे नोट,किंग क्रो,इंडियन डॉर्ट लेट तितली भी सर्वे में दिखाई दी।
बांधवगढ़ टाइगर रिजर्व में पहली बार बटरफ्लाई सर्वे हुआ सर्वे इसलिए भी विशेष था कि इस बार सर्वे में मोबाइल ऐप का उपयोग नहीं किया गया। हाथ से ही सर्वे सीट में पेन से जानकारी को अपडेट किया गया। टाइगर रिजर्व के सूत्रों की माने तो इस प्रक्रिया से थोड़ा समय लगता है। लेकिन आंकड़े सटीक आते हैं।
