RSS-VHP का प्रतिनिधिमंडल आज दिल्ली में केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह से मिला और बांग्लादेश में हिंदुओं की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के मामले पर ज्ञापन सौंपा. ज्ञापन में RSS-VHP के प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने कहा,'बांग्लादेश में सत्ता परिवर्तित होने के बाद हिंदुओं के साथ-साथ दूसरे अल्पसंख्यकों के खिलाफ हिंसा और धार्मिक स्थलों पर अतिक्रमण से पूरा विश्व चिंतित है.'
पत्र में आगे कहा गया,'महिलाओं से दुर्व्यवहार, हत्याओं और धमकियों के कारण उन्हें पलायन के लिए मजबूर किया जा रहा है. अंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्थाओं और मानवाधिकार संगठन भी अपनी जिम्मेदारी निभाने में असफल रहे हैं. पूरा संत समाज इन घटनाओं से चिंतित है.'
ज्ञापन में आगे लिखा है कि दिल्ली संत महामंडल का केंद्र सरकार से आग्रह है कि बांग्लादेश में हिंदुओं की सुरक्षा के लिए और पलायन रोकने के लिए यथा संभव प्रयास करें और उन्हें हर प्रकार से मानवीय सहायता प्रदान करें.
