सिंगरौली
आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) ने मध्य प्रदेश में अपने सबसे मजबूत नेता को विधानसभा चुनाव में उतार दिया है। मध्य प्रदेश में 'आप' की अध्यक्ष रानी अग्रवाल को सिंगरौली से टिकट दिया गया है। रानी अग्रवाल अभी सिंगरौली से मेयर हैं। पिछले साल हुए निकाय चुनाव में रानी ने सिंगरौली से जीत हासिल करके 'आप' को जीत का स्वाद चखाया था।
जुलाई 2022 में हुए हुए नगर निगम चुनाव में रानी अग्रवाल ने मेयर पद के लिए हुए मुकाबले में भाजपा उम्मीदवार को मात दी थी। रानी ने यहां भाजपा के चंद्र प्रताप विश्वकर्मा को 9 हजार से अधिक वोटों से हराया था। सिंगरौली में बरगवां ग्राम पंचायत की सरपंच के रूप में सियासी सफर की शुरुआत करने वाली रानी अग्रावल वार्ड 3 से पंचायत सदस्य रह चुकी हैं। 2018 में भी 'आप' ने रानी को सिंगरौली से मैदान में उतारा था। वह भले ही तब हार गईं, लेकिन तीसरे नंबर पर रहकर उन्होंने सबका ध्यान अपनी ओर खींचा था।
