कांकेर जिले के भानुप्रतापपुर थाने के तहत एक सड़क हादसे में पांच लोगों की मौत हो गई। कार ने बाइक सवार पांच लोगों को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया जिससे पांचों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। शुक्रवार को भानुप्रतापपुर से अंतागढ़ मार्ग पर खंडी नदी के पास ये हादसा हुआ है।
वहीं घटना की सूचना पाकर मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने शवों का पंचनामा भरकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है और मरने वालों की शिनाख्त करने में जुटी है। छत्तीसगढ़ में दुर्घटनाओं का ग्राफ साल दर साल बढ़ता जा रहा है। लोगों को यातायात नियमों के बारे में जागरुक किया जा रहा है,बावजूद इसके सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में कमी नहीं हो रही है। कांकेर जिले में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में छह साल में 1100 लोगों ने अपनी जान गंवा दी है। वहीं 2084 लोग घायल हुए हैं। छह साल में 2012 सड़क दुर्घटनाओं के प्रकरण दर्ज किए गए हैं।
