छत्तीसगढ़ के धमतरी जिले में एक युवक ने फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली. सुसाइड से पहले युवक लिनेश साहू ने पहले अपना व्हाट्सएप स्टेटस अपडेट किया, फिर फांसी लगा ली. स्टेटस में पत्नी और ससुराल पक्ष द्वारा धर्मांतरण के लिए दबाव डालने का आरोप लगाया गया है. यह मामला पोटियाडीह गांव का है.
मृतक लिनेश ने ससुराल पक्ष पर हिंदू से ईसाई धर्म में जाने के लिए दबाव डालने का आरोप लगाया है. घटना की सूचना मिलते ही अर्जुनी पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मृतक की पत्नी को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ कर रही.
डीएसपी नेहा पवार ने बताया कि ग्राम पोटियाडीह, थाना अर्जुनी के लिनेश साहू ने आत्महत्या की है. मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने शव का पंचनामा कर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है. इसके अलावा व्हाटअप स्टेट्स के संबंध में भी पुलिस जांच कर रही है.
