पलवल के पास जिला नागरिक अस्पताल के समीप पीएनजी पाइपलाइन फटने से दो दुकानें में आग लग गई। हादसे में चाय की दुकान चलाने वाले एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई। जबकि दुकानों में रखा सामान जलकर राख हो गया।
मृतक की पहचान शिव विहार कालोनी निवासी हरी सिंघला के रूप में हुई हरी से चाय की छोटी सी दुकान खोल रखी थी घटना के समय वह गैस चूल्हे पर चाय बना रहते थे। दुकान के आगे से ही पाइप लाइन जा रही है।
रिसाव के बाद पाइप लाइन से निकली गैस से तेजी से फैली और गैस चूल्हे की आग से आग धधक उठी। हरी बुरी तरह से झुलस गए। अन्य दुकानदार आग लगने पर वहां से भाग खड़े हुए। मौके पर दमकल विभाग की गाड़ी ने आग बुझा दी।
