राज्यपाल एवं कुलाधिपति श्री मंगुभाई पटेल ने नानाजी देशमुख पशु चिकित्सा विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय, जबलपुर का कुलपति डॉ. मनदीप शर्मा को नियुक्त किया है। पशु चिकित्सा एवं पशु विज्ञान महाविद्यालय, पालमपुर, हिमाचल प्रदेश के पूर्व डीन डॉ. शर्मा को कार्यभार ग्रहण करने की तिथि से पांच वर्ष की समयावधि अथवा 70 वर्ष की आयु, जो भी पूर्वतर होगी के लिए कुलपति नियुक्त किया गया है।
