मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने आगामी 26 जुलाई को आने वाली कारगिल विजय दिवस की रजत जयंती के लिए कन्याकुमारी से कारगिल-सियाचिन जा रही एकल साइकिलिस्ट सुश्री आशा मालवीय को प्रोत्साहन स्वरूप एक लाख रुपए उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश दिए हैं। राजगढ़ जिले के ग्राम नाटाराम की निवासी सुश्री आशा "सशक्त सेना-समृद्ध भारत" के उद्देश्य से कन्याकुमारी से साइकिल यात्रा आरंभ कर भोपाल आईं।
मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव से साइकिलिस्ट सुश्री आशा मालवीय ने समत्व भवन में भेंट की। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने सुश्री आशा का पुष्पगुच्छ भेंटकर व कैप पहनाकर अभिवादन किया और स्पोर्ट्स किट भेंट की। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने एकल साइकिलिस्ट सुश्री आशा के साहस की प्रशंसा करते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य और लक्ष्य प्राप्ति में सफलता की कामना की। राष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी व एकल महिला साइकिलिस्ट सुश्री आशा ने "महिला सुरक्षा-महिला सशक्तिकरण" के उद्देश्य से संपूर्ण भारत में अब तक 26 हजार किलोमीटर की एकल साइकिल यात्रा की है।
