रांची सदर हॉस्पिटल में इलाज कराने पहुंची एक महिला ने हॉस्पिटल बिल्डिंग के पांचवें तल्ले से कूदकर जान दे दी। घटना मंगलवार सुबह करीब नौ बजे की है। बताया गया कि महिला झारखंड के रामगढ़ जिले की रहने वाली थी। उसका नाम सुमंती देवी है और उसके पति का नाम सहदेव मंडल है। वह अपने पति और बच्चों के साथ बीते 9 अक्टूबर को हॉस्पिटल आई थी। स्त्री रोग विभाग में उसका इलाज चल रहा था। मंगलवार को डॉक्टरों ने उसके ऑपरेशन की तारीख तय की थी। इस बीच उसने अचानक पांचवें तल्ले से छलांग लगा दी।
मौके पर मौजूद लोगों ने महिला को अस्पताल के इमरजेंसी वार्ड में भर्ती कराया, लेकिन हालत गंभीर होने पर उसे रिम्स रेफर किया गया, जहां उसकी मौत हो गई। महिला के पति और उसके बच्चों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है। महिला ने बीमारी से परेशान होकर जान दी या फिर इसके पीछे कोई और वजह है, इसकी भी जांच की जा रही है। शव का पोस्टमार्टम कराया जा रहा है।
