मध्य प्रदेश के मंडला जिले में बुधवार तड़के एक स्पोर्ट्स यूटिलिटी व्हिकल (एसयूवी) और एक ट्रक की टक्कर में चार लोगों की मौत हो गई और दो अन्य घायल हो गए। पुलिस ने यह जानकारी दी।
एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि घटना देर रात करीब एक बजे बरखेड़ा गांव के पास राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग-30 की है।
बिछिया पुलिस थाना प्रभारी धर्मेंद्र सिंह धुर्वे ने कहा, ‘एक एसयूवी विपरीत दिशा से आ रहे लोहे की छड़ों से लदे एक ट्रक से टकरा गई।’
उन्होंने बताया कि एसयूवी में छह लोग सवार थे। इनमें से चार की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि दो अन्य घायल हो गए।
धुर्वे ने बताया कि मृतकों में तीन महिलाएं और एसयूवी का चालक शामिल हैं। घायलों को जिला अस्पताल में कराया गया है।
उन्होंने बताया कि टक्कर से ट्रक भी पलट गया। इसका चालक मौके से भाग गया और उसका पता लगाने की कोशिश की जा रही है।
