श्रावस्ती में मल्हीपुर पुलिस टीम ने मल्हीपुर- भिनगा मार्ग पर मधवापुर पुल से पहले ऐंठा ग्राम को जाने वाले सड़क पर पुलिस मुठभेड़ में 25 हजार इनामी बदमाश को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। मुठभेड़ के दौरान अभियुक्त के बाएं पैर में गोली लगी है। आरोपी के पास से एक मोटरसाइकिल, 01 नाजायज तमंचा 315 बोर, 01 फायर शुदा कारतूस व 01 जिंदा कारतूस मौके पर बरामद किया गया है।
शातिर अपराधी दादे पुत्र रम्पत उर्फ रामपति निवासी दीनामगढ़ थाना इकौना जनपद श्रावस्ती को पुलिस ने रात में मुठभेड़ के दौरान गिरफ्तार किया गया। आरोपी पर 25 हजार का इनाम घोषित किया गया था। माह मार्च में पशु तस्करी के संबंध में थाना मल्हीपुर क्षेत्र के इंदवा टिकुईया के पास पुलिस मुठभेड़ के दौरान रात्रि का फायदा उठाकर एक बदमाश फरार हो गया था। जिसकी गिरफ्तारी के लिए पुलिस ने 25 हजार का इनाम घोषित किया था।
