आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के मुखिया और पूर्व सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने गुरुवार को चुनाव आयोग जाकर अपने खिलाफ लड़ रहे भारतीय जनता पार्टी के उम्मीदवार प्रवेश वर्मा की शिकायत की। दिल्ली मुख्यमंत्री आतिशी और पंजाब के सीएम भगवंत मान के साथ मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त से मिले केजरीवाल ने कहा कि उनकी सीट पर बहुत बड़ा स्कैम चल रहा है। प्रवेश वर्मा पर आरोपों की बौछार करते हुए केजरीवाल ने मांग की कि प्रवेश वर्मा को चुनाव लड़ने से रोक दिया जाए। 'आप' के मुखिया ने कहा कि कई तरह से वोटर्स को प्रभावित किया जा रहा है और यूपी-बिहार से लोगों को लाकर फर्जी वोट बनवाए जा रहे हैं।
अरविंद केजरीवाल ने चुनाव आयोग के दफ्तर के बाहर मीडिया से बातचीत में कहा, ‘नई दिल्ली सीट पर 22 दिन में साढ़े पांच वोट कटाने के आवेदन आ गए हैं। जिन 89 लोगों के नाम से वोट काटने के आवेदन लगाए गए उनमें से सामने आए 18 लोगों ने कह दिया कि उन्होंने आवेदन नहीं किया है। इसका मतलब है कि बहुत बड़े स्केल पर स्कैम चल रहा है, फ्रॉड चल रहा है। कल तक 13 हजार नए वोट बनाने के लिए आवेदन कहां से आ गए, पिछले 15 दिन में। जाहिर तौर पर यूपी-बिहार, आसपास के राज्यों से लोगों को लाकर फर्जी वोट बनवाए जा रहे हैं। साढ़े 18 पर्सेंट वोट यदि इधर से उधर कर दी जाएंगी तो फिर चुनाव थोड़ी है, नाटक है, तमाशा है।’
